Able Moms International began as a 2019 laundry room conversation that gained momentum among friends over coffee. Simultaneously, "making moms able" was Founder and CEO's deep conviction after her daughter's thwarted trafficking abduction and an incarcerated confession that lack of strong family is what all predators look for. As a mom, strong moms were her solution.
Moms expressed unmet needs: their longing for genuine Christlike community, truthful wisdom, tangible resources, and focused faith when "feel good" didn't carry them far. Our authentically Biblical mom-communities gather to meet these needs.
And just a few years later, when a 45 min interview turned into four hours, Amanda asked a state-sanctioned pedophile counselor one last question:
"What is the single greatest commonality of the hundreds of predators you meet?"
Confidently and quickly, he answered. "Bad Moms."
Amanda God had orchestrated the perfect path for redeeming able kids. Able moms. And while we don't often discuss Amanda's pro-manumission passion, we do share capable, unshakable, memorable motherhood here.
Able Moms International is now reaching mothers all over the globe (operating under the 501c3 non-profit umbrella of Amanda Flo Ministries), even in unlikely places like prisons and pregnancy centers, and in different languages.
