Timeless Learning Meets Modern Brain Science
Evergreen Academy is a unique K–12 school with a four-day school week and a Biblical worldview, blending both enduring models of ancient learning and modern Biblical brain science, at a conscious cost. At Evergreen Academy, we embrace how children actually learn.
Here, we reclaim education for the next generation.
Our Priorities
• Timeless Learning: We root education in God’s Word, His enduring principles, and proven heritage models, preparing lifelong learners. This stands in contrast to modern systems established when God’s design was removed from traditional schooling. An ancient model that redeems the Greco-Roman ideology of schooling and the Judeo-Christian reasoning used in early American education are our two parameters for timeless learning. (Luke 2:52, Proverbs 18:15, Psalm 119:105, Proverbs 3:7, Ecclesiastes 1:9, Jeremiah 6:16)
• ‘Neuro-Responsive’ Learning: Often misunderstood, this means science—and therefore schooling—is catching up with the Bible. At EA, children thrive in our intentional environment where community, relationships, activity, purposeful breaks, and recall is fully integrated in how we teach our teachers, cultivate our culture, and serve your students. Biblical brain science aligns with God’s unique design for family, freedom, relationship, and learning at EA. (Ephesians 2:10, Romans 12:2, 2 Timothy 1:7)
• Assessment-Led Learning: Assessment-driven placement allows children to progress based on mastery without waiting or rushing. This is identified by assessments, teachers' professional observation, and reinforced by you as the parent. In an environment where personal learning and pace is the expectation, the emotional distraction of comparison is avoided as we honor individual growth and development. (Galatians 6:4–5, 1 Corinthians 12:4–6, Luke 16:10)
• And, Rooted Systems: Our framework is “rooted”. We cultivate a supportive community through family partnership, communication, faith, and student success. (Proverbs 22:6, Deuteronomy 6:6–7, Ecclesiastes 4:9–10, Hebrews 10:24–25)
