At Evergreen Academy, we believe that all truth is God’s truth. We are committed to a Biblical worldview that shapes how we educate, relate to families, and view the development of every child. Our faith is rooted in the historic Christian faith as expressed in the Nicene Creed held universally by most Christians, and expressed as the following convictions:

• We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons — Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is the Creator of all things and the source of all truth. (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-3)

• We believe that the Bible is the inspired, authoritative, and sufficient Word of God. It is our final authority for faith and practice and serves as the foundation for all learning. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 119:105)

• We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and will one day return. Through faith in Him alone, we are forgiven and reconciled to God. (John 1:1, 14; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; John 14:6; Acts 4:12)

• We believe in the Holy Spirit, who is fully God. He convicts the world of sin, regenerates hearts, and seals believers for redemption. He indwells every Christian, empowers us to live godly lives, and guides us into all truth. We depend on the Holy Spirit to bring genuine transformation in the lives of our students, staff, and families. (John 16:7–11; Titus 3:5; Ephesians 1:13–14; John 14:26; Galatians 5:22–23)

• We believe that all people are created in the image of God and are deeply loved by Him. Every child has inherent dignity and worth, regardless of ability, background, or behavior. (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 139:13-16; Matthew 19:14)

• We believe that God designed marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and that this design is foundational to family and society. (Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:4-6; Ephesians 5:31-32)

• We believe that parents are the primary educators of their children. We exist to partner with families, not replace them, as we seek to train children in wisdom and godliness. (Deuteronomy 6:6-7; Proverbs 22:6; Ephesians 6:4)

• We believe that true education must be rooted in God’s Word and aligned with how God designed children to learn. We integrate timeless Biblical principles with modern understanding of brain science, relationships, and child development. (Proverbs 1:7; Luke 2:52; Romans 12:2)

• We believe that making disciples is inherently evangelistic. Our desire is that every student and family would come to saving faith in Jesus Christ and then grow in maturity as His followers. We view discipleship not only as spiritual growth, but as the process of leading people to Christ and helping them become faithful, fruitful followers of Jesus. (Matthew 28:18–20; Colossians 1:28–29; 2 Timothy 2:2; Acts 2:42–47)

• We believe in the power of the gospel to transform lives. Our desire is that every student would grow in wisdom, character, and faith, becoming lifelong learners who love God and serve others. (Colossians 1:28-29; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Micah 6:8)
